The CNC Operator is responsible for the operation and monitoring of CNC Laser Cutting and Press Machines used in the fabrication of sheet metal components. This role involves reading technical drawings, supervising machine tasks, conducting quality inspections, and maintaining production records. The operator ensures precise execution of fabrication processes while adhering to safety and quality standards. Training is provided for all machine operations, and the role includes acting as a substitute for the Cutting Services Manager when required.

• Responsibilities:
  • Operation of CNC Laser Cutting Machine for plates, tubes and CNC press machine – Training will be provided.
  • Understand specifications of the task and the desired result by reading blueprints and mechanical drawings.
  • Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to provide optimal results
  • Inspect and measure finished products to determine if the process has been completed properly.
  • Record all machine actions by completing production and quality logs.
  • Attending workshops and training sessions
  • Substitute the Cutting Services Manager when on absence
