Pavlos Zenonos & Sons is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting and tax regulations, and supporting Management with financial analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and accounting records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns, tax returns, and other statutory reports.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring.
• Liaise with external auditors and ensure compliance with IFRS and company policies.
• Prepare management reports and contribute to improving accounting processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax legislation, and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software; ERP experience is an advantage.
• ACA, ACCA, or an equivalent qualification will be considered an advantage.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

From €2,500, depending on qualifications and experience.
