Manpower Cyprus on behalf of our client, a forward-thinking investment holding group operating across real estate, agriculture, trading, and information technology sectors, is seeking to recruit a Junior Accountant.

The Junior Accountant will support the accounting team in maintaining financial records and assisting with day-to-day accounting operations across a group of diverse companies operating in multiple sectors. • Assist in maintaining accounting records for group companies
• Support the preparation of bookkeeping entries and reconciliations
• Assist in the preparation and submission of VAT and VIES returns
• Support audit processes and compliance procedures
• Assist in financial reporting and data analysis tasks
• Perform general accounting and administrative support duties as required

• Partly qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA)  or LCCI Higher (or equivalent qualification in Accounting/Finance)
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field would be considered an advantage
• 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience would be considered an advantage
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Knowledge of VAT and Cyprus tax regulations would be considered an advantage
• Familiarity with accounting software (ESOFT considered an advantage)
• Good MS Office skills
• Good communication skills in Greek and English
