LGL is seeking a driven and commercially minded Indoor Sales Officer to join our growing team in Limassol or Nicosia. The role focuses on developing new business opportunities, strengthening relationships with existing clients, and promoting our full portfolio of logistics solutions—including sea freight (FCL/LCL), air freight, land transport, warehousing, and cross‑trade services.

The Indoor Sales Officer at Levant Gate Logistics Cyprus plays a central role in driving our commercial success by managing daily sales activities from the heart of our Limassol office or Nicosia office. This position combines strong customer service with proactive sales generation: handling incoming inquiries, preparing accurate quotations, following up on leads, and conducting outbound calls to potential customers to introduce LGL’s full range of logistics solutions.

- Contribute to the implementation of Department Policies and Procedures and achieve department targets.
- Coordinate with the General Manager about identifying new sales targets and opportunities.
- Follow up the bookings of the existing and new sales accounts.
- Answer clients’ calls and efficiently respond to their requests.
- Perform sales visits if required, and inform the General Manager and involved parties about feedback accordingly.
- Follow up bookings to ensure the provision of a professional level of customer service for new and existing clients.
- Enter Data to the sales datasheet and keep updated feedbacks.
- Prepare bi-weekly statistical and market reports.
- Monitor monthly clients’ performance and volumes
- Inform General Manager about any urgent problem that endangers LGL relation with clients to raise it to the concerned employees in-charged.
- Perform other related activities as requested by the General Manager.
Required Qualifications & Skills
🧠 Core Skills & Experience
- Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a commercial support role (sea/air/road/cross‑trade) for at least 3 years.
- Strong ability to prepare quotations, compare rates, and understand basic pricing structures.
- Confident in conducting outbound calls to potential customers and nurturing leads.
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) in Greek and English.
- Strong follow‑up discipline and ability to manage multiple inquiries simultaneously.
- Good command of Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Power Point).
- Ability to coordinate effectively with Operations, ensuring smooth handover of bookings.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to understand margins, profitability, and basic KPIs.
- Knowledge of Power BI is considered a strong advantage (data visibility, KPI tracking).
