Join our dynamic and expanding team in the shipping industry! We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Executive to join our Finance and Corporate Services Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional to grow within a well-established and reputable shipping group operating in an international environment.

Managing the full accounting cycle, including bookkeeping, journal entries, and month-end closings.
• Preparing and reviewing VAT returns, ensuring timely and accurate submission.
• Conducting monthly reconciliations of suppliers, customers, intercompany accounts, and bank statements.
• Preparing and assisting with the execution of payment runs and maintaining cashflow tracking reports.
• Monitoring expenses, accruals, and prepaid accounts, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
• Assisting in the preparation of management accounts and financial reports.
• Liaising with auditors, tax authorities, and other external consultants as required.
• Collaborating closely with the Finance Manager and/or CFO for ad-hoc analyses, reporting, and administrative tasks within the finance and corporate department.

University or other professional degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounting; experience within the shipping or audit sector will be considered an advantage.
• Good knowledge of bookkeeping and IFRS principles.
• Experience with Navision / Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central will be considered as advantage.

Excellent command of English and Greek, both written and spoken.
• Strong computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and within a team.
• Professional, reliable, and discreet when handling confidential information.
• Positive, proactive, and adaptable to a fast-paced international shipping environment.
