We are seeking a Customer Support Operator for full-time employment based on a shift-system, to join our team at our Head offices in Nicosia.

Betathlon Ltd is a Cypriot company which, through the brand name CYBET, operates in the area of sports betting in Cyprus. Betathlon Ltd possesses betting acceptance license Class A’ & B’ by the Cypriot Betting Authority (www.nba.com.cy).

We are seeking a Customer Support Operator for full-time employment based on a shift-system, to join our team at our Head offices in Nicosia.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist players with inquires via mobile, web and chat platforms.
• Resolve complaints with a friendly demeanor.
• Work across multiple teams to improve the player experience.
• Be a subject matter expert on the mobile app.
• Stay current on sportsbook offering and promotions.
• Escalate problems as they arise.
• Constantly evaluate opportunities to enhance the customer journey.
• Review identification documents for verification.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of account information.
• Troubleshoot any technical issues.
• Keep ahead of customer service industry trends, challenge the status quo, and apply best practices or new ideas to areas of improvement.

Key Skills/Requirements:

• Fluent in Greek and English both oral and written.
• Experience working in a customer support environment will be considered an advantage.
• Experience working in the sports betting industry will be considered an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Positive attitude and team spirit.
• Good knowledge of technology.

Important Information:

• The position is based on a five-day schedule, in a department that operates 7 days a week based on a shift system.
• Once trained this role could operate based on a hybrid model, based in the office, and working from home.
• Salary depending on experience and knowledge.
• Office Location: Makedonitissa, Nicosia.
