We are seeking a motivated Accountant to join our growing SME. The successful candidate will support the company’s accounting and financial operations, including bookkeeping, VAT, reconciliations, and reporting. This role is suitable for both junior candidates seeking training and experienced professionals looking for a stable and collaborative environment. Training and guidance will be provided.

• Maintain accurate accounting records, including general ledger entries and reconciliations.

• Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.

• Prepare and submit VAT returns and ensure compliance with local tax regulations.

• Assist in payroll processing and employee expense tracking.

• Generate financial reports for management, providing insights for business decisions.

• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.

• Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders as required.

• Continuously improve internal accounting processes and procedures.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or LCCI Higher in Accounting
• Excellent computer literacy
• Strong command of both Greek and English (written and verbal)
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of discretion, politeness, and professionalism
• Reliability, responsibility, and organizational skills

Working Hours:

• Monday – Thursday: 08:00 a.m. – 17:00 p.m. (30-minute lunch break)
• Friday: 08:00 a.m. – 14:00 p.m.
